The Jan. 6 hearings should follow 5 basic rules

First, the committee should explain what the “crime” was and what role Trump played in it.

Did he attempt to coordinate a nonviolent coup by pressuring the Justice Department and states into fabricating an air of fraudulence and then cajoling the vice president to throw out electoral votes for President Biden? Did Trump also unleash the crowd on Jan. 6 with the intent to rampage violently and disrupt electoral vote certification? We need to hear evidence that he knew he lost the election but wanted to prevent Biden from taking office regardless. Whether the committee makes a formal criminal referral to the Justice Department, it should set forth multiple legal theories that could provide a basis for indictment.

But that completely upends the purpose of that committee. It isn't there to 'get at the truth.' It would also be a violation of the Constitution in that congressional subpoena power and ability to prosecute crimes is limited to a "legislative purpose." Outside of impeachment, Congress has no prosecutorial powers.

What the Jan 6 committee is about is political theater, nothing more. It's there to dig dirt and stir up political muck on rivals.

sick of you right wing assholes

Second, what role did other elected or appointed officials play?

The committee should identify any members of Congress who abetted the coup plot and, if appropriate, recommend their disqualification from holding office under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Executive branch officials who may have prepared to seize voting machines, cook up fraudulent slates of electors or engage in other shenanigans to overthrow the election must likewise be identified.

Not what it said you lying scumbag.

Yes, that's what it implied.

spoon-feed
[ˈspo͞onˌfēd]
VERB
spoon-feeding (present participle)

provide (someone) with so much help or information that they do not need to think for themselves:

To "spoon feed" information to the public implies that the committee would take information they gathered and then parse it out in such a way that the public couldn't judge for themselves the value or truth of that information. Instead, they'd be forced to the extent possible to accept the committee's position on whatever it is they're putting out. It amounts to a variant of the propaganda technique, Card stacking.

Spoon feed to dopes like you.

Fourth, the committee must ensure the public understands how close we came to politic

The committee has to avoid legal jargon such as the “independent state legislature doctrine”; instead, it should use common-sense terms (e.g., the attempt to “steal the election” or “ignore the will of voters”). Where are the weak points in the system that future candidates could exploit to steal an election? Contrary to scheming by people such as Trump lawyer John Eastman and Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), the committee must be clear that it is never acceptable for state legislatures to contradict the expressed will of the people in choosing their president.

Truth hurts doesnt it. Truth is the whole damn country KNOWS what its about, thats why there is zero support for it outside of your LW bubble. You think you are hurting your opposition with this,....in fact you are HELPING US. ;) Thus the reason you never really see me whining about it. I actually WANT the hearings because I know what they will do to you idiots.

So, here they're recommending a buzz word fallacy--another propaganda technique--for putting out information...

That's the bottom line here. The Left sees they're losing control of the narrative--as they always do-- and their solution to that is to shut down all opposition to their narrative while controlling what they put out for people. This is why Leftist dictatorships always take over the media and run it with an iron fist. Their ideas can't stand the light of day or debate so the Left chooses not to debate.
