nearly all of the founders gravitated to autocracy once they got in to power. They were decidedly unhappy about the restrictions they placed upon their new government after they realized it limited their own power.

So much of what CNN has made public has turned out to be propagandistic hog wash that attributing anything to CNN not intended as humor seems odd.
