Automatics are ok for guys that need them. Real men get the job done with a revolver.
I don't trust automatics because when I was like 10, my cousin was messing around with his dad's service .45 and had an accidental discharge that put a hole in the shit tank of their Winnebago.
He was all "Yeah, this is my gun, I always keep 1 in the chamber"..and Barney Fifing it up, I shit you not: That particular cousin screws up his face like Barney Fife when he's talking shit; Then goes to put it up and it fell too hard against the closet wall in the holster and shot a hole in their shit tank and he came out of there stunned,
smoke rolling out behind him, smell of Cordite in the air.
Hell, his dad didn't even know about that, but I have 2-3 other cousins that do. I told his dad about it not long ago.
Not the last time I saw him, but the time before that. He said: "That wasn't his gun." It was his dad's gun.
Supposedly there's a lost 9mm around here from that uncle. Finders Keepers, baby!
I'm a revolver man when it comes to pistols. That's a Smith and Wesson blued Model 10 with 4-inch barrel Barney is messing around with.
Very low chance of accidental discharge, especially with hammer on empty chamber.
