Twitter has accepted the world's most successful African American's offer to purchase the company for $44 billion, the company announced in a press release today.
The world's most successful African American purchased the company at $54.20 a share, the same price named in his initial offer on April 14th.
“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” said the world's most successful African American in a statement included with the release.

Making the rules for your own organization is not tyranny. Government has no business telling a social media platform what content it can allow although the right seems to think government regulation of speech is acceptable.
I can get on Facebook and Twitter but I can't get my message out as effectively as Trump. He only has to make a statement and it will be carried in videos, newspapers, TV news, and the internet.
A person can effectively convey his opinions without using Facebook or Twitter.

You are making the assumption that Twitter and social media are the only sources of free speech. That ignores all the thousands (millions) of other sources that are more reliable. Anyone depending on social media for information is poorly informed if not misinformed.
I think it is less concerned about free speech than whining about somebody treating Trump mean. People were much less concerned about free speech when athletes were taking a knee during the nation anthem and wanted them banned.
