No, I agree in this case because Disney had a deal that was too good to be true and fucked it up by getting involved in politics. For 50 + years Disney was their own private fiefdom in Florida. They had complete autonomy and weren't paying Florida a cent for their property holdings. They could have, as one commentator put it, built a nuclear power plant on their property and the state of Florida had no say in it.

That Florida ended that deal because Disney stupidly decided that being woke outweighed being profitable is their mistake. That's where this is.

I’m not afraid, it is a spiral of destruction for the republican party. New parties for spring out of the ashes, better parties. A renewal of American freedom. Just going to be a low point in the cycle, but my children will enjoy the fruits of the struggle.

The left has tried its VERY best to divide this country along every different line they could find. No, I'm saying this is something Florida should have done long ago for revenue reasons, but did because Disney gave them a political reason to do it. It's like you live in an HOA neighborhood and there's one home in the neighborhood that isn't in the HOA but gets all the benefits of being in the HOA. One day the owner does something stupid that gives the HOA a legal reason to force him into paying and they take it. Had the owner not been stupid, the deal wouldn't have ended.

If Disney had shut up and stayed out of Florida's textbook bullshit--which was none of their business in any case--Florida wouldn't have been handed a reason to fuck Disney over. But Disney didn't. They threatened to use their money and business clout to politic against Florida's government decisions. Florida's government pushed back and Disney got their ass kicked.

If Disney wanted to be a bully, they should have been prepared for the potential ass kicking to come. Now, getting a bully beatdown they're whining about how unfairly they're being treated. They got nothing coming here.
