You have not heard of the DC shootings yesterday??

Washington (CNN)The suspect in a shooting in northwest Washington, DC, that left four people wounded on Friday afternoon has died, DC Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert Contee said.

"The suspect that we believe is responsible for this is now deceased," said Contee, who declined to name the suspect pending notification of next of kin. "We believe that the suspect took his own life as MPD members were entering or breaching the apartment where the suspect was located."
Police are not looking for another suspect, Contee said.

No, I didn't know. I do have other things to do besides obsess over the news all day. Yesterday I was doing major electrical repairs to a house being remuddles by a general contractor for someone moving to Phoenix so I was pretty tired by the time I got home and didn't look at any news--or much of anything else.

Excuse me? Why are you mad at me? It is/was a pretty big story, which I learned
of watching a baseball game.

You are on this forum more than I, by far. The fact that I am here at all over the weekend is a rarity. One need not "obsess over news" to keep up with what is happening.

I should apologize for being better informed than you?
