Facebook posts disputing Bucha atrocities shared 208,000 times in a week
Analysis finds average number of shares was three times higher for posts casting doubt on alleged war crimes than those that did not

Posts casting doubt on evidence of alleged war crimes in Bucha have been shared hundreds of thousands of times on Facebook, analysis by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue has found.

Researchers analysed the 10 most shared posts on Facebook mentioning Bucha – a suburb of Kyiv formerly occupied by Russian forces – in 20 countries and found 55 posts disputing evidence of violence against civilians.

These posts were shared 208,000 times in the week to 6 April, compared with 172,000 shares that did not question the veracity of images emerging from the town.

Among the most popular posts mentioning Bucha, the average number of shares was three times higher for posts casting doubt on alleged war crimes compared with those which did not.

The mayor of Bucha told Reuters that 400 dead bodies had been uncovered since the Russians withdrew from the town, though this figure has yet to be independently verified. Russia has repeatedly denied targeting civilians and claimed photographs of corpses were staged.

Is this an indication that more are people are challenging the news they are fed than those that don't ?
Anybody really believe that they know the truth- when they don't actually know the truth ?

What is it that causes otherwise rational people to believe what they are told with questioning ? Is it our education system ?
Does anybody really trust the government ?

Aw, lookie- the Brit groaner has turned up- on cue - to deposit his automatic whinge.
Wassup, maggot- your establishment being challenged ?

Haw, haw.........................haw.

There's going to be some innocent civilian deaths when you reduce a town to rubble.

The funny thing is Ukraine had no reason to shell it until Russia invaded and tried to occupy it. That would mean only one country is responsible for the deaths.

You're conveniently omitting the NATO initiators, Poor Richard, and the Ukrainian Neo-Nazis who received the NATO arms shipments.

Just a minor matter.

When did NATO shell Bucha? When did the Neo-Nazis shell it?

The simple fact remains that the ONLY reason that it was shelled is because Russia invaded. Hardly a minor matter since Russia is the only country that sent troops into Ukraine to attack it.

Battle of Bucha

On 1 March, photos of destroyed and abandoned Russian equipment began circulating through Ukrainian news media, with some describing Bucha as a graveyard for the destroyed Russian equipment.

Who do you think caused all that damage in Bucha ?

If you don't start exhibiting some actual knowledge of events I won't respond to your crap.

Russian tanks in Bucha? I wonder how they got there. Perhaps you can tell us. Did Ukraine steal them from Russia and plant them there?

The tanks were shelled- in Bucha- by Ukrainians. You asked if Ukrainians shelled Bucha- the answer is a resounding YES.
Now tell me where all the ' bodies ' came from.

When did I ask if Ukranians shelled Bucha?

This is what I said.

You still haven't told us why Russian tanks were in Bucha to begin with. I think it is you that is failing to exhibit actual knowledge of events.

I think the phots were staged. i think a lot of stuff coming our of Ukraine is heavily massaged
(the bodies never showed any faces, and a white sash was around on which would be filthy dirty -not white

According to whom? I haven't seen one post on FB supporting any Russian action in Ukraine and yes, I have Russian friends.

It is nice to see Wagner "Warriors" dying by the thousands though.

Russia committed war crimes, even you know it is true, you just lie about it.

not happening (bolded)
i wouldn't put a lot of credibility into this- looks like NATO propaganda

Here is an article about the Wagner Group in Libya - a westernized POS article because Russia backs Hiftar in Libya (out of Bengazi) and the author is a shill for the Tripoli government -
but here is the key phrasing..
https://time.com/6167556/russias-wagner-group-ukraine/
Specifically, by shoring up pro-Russian forces in the separatist territories of Donetsk and Luhansk in southeastern Ukraine,
meaning they (Wagner) haven't done much of the fighting -as Donbas is now just escalating
Libya, the Wagner fighters made a difference. While certainly sub-par by Western military standards, they nonetheless undermined the morale of government forces with relentless firepower and lethal precision, especially in the form of well-aimed sniper shots, with high-caliber, anti-materiel rifles. One commander on the government side told me that thirty percent of the deaths in his unit were due to Russian snipers. And during a Wagner mortar barrage, I witnessed fear and panic in the ranks that I’d not observed in previous conflicts in Libya, including the months-long battle against the Islamic State.

NeoNazi's a re most certainly Ukraine -Azov Batallion among others
. NATO weapons have made Ukraine a defacto NATO state

Russian weapons are the most prevalent weapons in Ukraine. Wouldn't that make Ukraine a Russian state?

Your evidence that the Azov Battalion shelled Bucha is what? And then we are still at the same reality that says the ONLY reason that Bucha was shelled is because Russia invaded Ukraine.

NATO is not Ukraine. Neo-nazis are not Ukraine. It seems I am not the one digging a hole but you certainly keep pulling the dirt in on top of you.

Not all Ukrainians support NATO- true, and not all Ukrainians are Neo-Nazis- true, but you won't accept that the latter exist or that many Ukrainians are pro-Russian.

Anyway, whoever wins the conflict will write the history.
