The Kremlin published a presidential decree on Monday granting the honorary title of “Guards” to the 64th Motor Rifle Brigade for its service in Ukraine. The brigade earned the honour for its “mass heroism and valour, tenacity and courage in military action to defend the Motherland and interests of the state in an armed conflict,” the decree says.
The brigade was among Russian units that occupied Kyiv’s suburb of Bucha for several weeks before they retreated in early April, leaving behind several hundred dead civilians and dozens of women who had been raped.

Very true although not quite as easy as the Trump supporters who like to claim that "Putin never would have invaded the Ukraine if he were president" which is about the fucking stupidest comment coming from those assholes. Trump didn't give two shits about the Ukraine, he was against giving them weapons, they would not help him with his propaganda about Biden in the election, he ridiculed NATO endlessly and he called Putin a brilliant genius after his invasion. But Trump would have prevented Putin from invading? That is fucking stupider than thinking Trump actually won the election! Trump would be telling his ignorant followers that the Ukraine deserved it because they would not start an investigation into Biden like he asked them to and his brainwashed assholes would be like "Yeah!"
trump wanted to pull out of NATO. Biden has stated in no uncertain terms war with any NATO nation is a war with all. There is a real possibility that if trump is president, Putin is invading NATO nations.

A proxy war? It is Putin's war of choice. He did what we thought most nations had evolved past, taking over a peaceful neighboring country. We are helping people that Putin attacked. If he did not attack, there would be no war. This is not our war.

Yes, Trump was talking about pulling out. How much more anti-NATO do you require. And there is no NATO fund. They were talking about promises to get their military budget up to 2 percent. The deal they had, said to by 2025. Trump had congress and senate under control.
