There are Republicans willing to go to prison rather than open up the "investigation" to an investigation. If there was real evidence, they would be desperate to get it out.

Much like if there was real evidence of problems with textbooks, they would be desperate to get it out... Instead, we have a coverup.

or the fact the review (internal review by Florida Dept of Education) had them at all?

It's a new state law, the bureaucrats have been trained to implement the evaluations.

What the exact violation for every book isn't transparent. Maybe it should be -
but these are purchases by the Dept of Education and typically are done by bureaucratic fiat

Step one, DeSantis claims that the civil servants in the Department of Education are all pedophiles; and takes over control. Then his political appointees make weird decisions, which they refuse to backup with evidence. When it all starts collapsing, we get to hear that it is all the civil servants fault?

Wondered the same thing. I agree math is math and its instruction shouldn't need doses of sociology. But a thread that makes the argument this thread makes is incompetent when it fails at the outset to show how the violation of a standard it claims happened happened.
