Where will FoxNews find new viewers?

It used to be that 90% of Americans had cable TV. Now under 50% still have cable TV. With on demand internet services buying the rights to sports, the last reason for many households keeping cable is vanishing. This has not hurt FoxNews much, because their viewers tend to be older and more conservative, so more likely to keep cable TV. But their viewers are dying. They are beginning to see sinking numbers like the rest of cable TV.

So what is the solution? Most cable TV stations say the solution is to go to on-demand internet services. It is a highly competitive market, but it appears to be their only hope.

FoxNew's website looks like it was designed in 1999, and it is barely used. What is the master plan for survival?

CNN Plus is struggling in its first month... But it is just the first month. Maybe it will succeed, or maybe it will not.

You know what will definitely fail, FoxNews doing nothing.

Fox News topped the March ratings as well as the first quarter of 2022, while CNN saw its ratings rise in the past month, dominated by coverage of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Fox News averaged 2.86 million viewers in primetime, up 19% from the same month a year earlier. MSNBC averaged 1.28 million, down 29%, and CNN averaged 1.22 million, up 1%.

In the 25-54 demo, Fox News averaged 529,000, up 41%, while CNN posted 366,000, up 25%, and MSNBC was at 183,000, down 23%.

Up 41% and up 19% for age 25-54... that is dying?

You are one stupid son of a bitch

So FOX has a following of approximately ONE PERCENT of the country's adult population. Anyway, the "stupid" one in the above exchange isn't the member entirely missing the point of the thread.

Up 41% from last year is sinking numbers?

This highlights the reason talk radio was always dominated by the rightwing. Conservatives tend to be old, and more accustomed to early 20th century technology.

I wouldn't be surprised if 90 percent of conservatives still have VHS tapes and eight track players.

where will progressives find new voters? Hispanics are leaving in droves. Blacks are finally realizing you have noting to offer. you don't have enough homeless and gender confused voters to make up the gap

they could take a stab at conservative viewers. I know one conservative person who watches Fox, I hear MANY democrats talk about something aired on Fox.

Bragging about being the #1 cable news network is like bragging about being the prettiest girl in Wasilla, Alaska.
