They aren't arresting her for having an abortion. They are arresting her for preforming an abortion. Apparently if a doctor had preformed the abortion it would have been illegal also because the pregnancy was too far along. She should have chosen to abort earlier.

Never mind the fact that what she did was exceedingly dangerous. Why do you think she ended up in a hospital?

My guess is she's stupid, poorly educated and desperate. Another example of America's failure to educate our young people. Sad.

Why do you think that a woman should be punished for her health decisions? You've stated that you chose not to get the COVID vaccine. Should you be punished by forcing you to stay in your shabby little hovel, away from other people so that you don't infect us? If this young woman needs punishment for her choice, then so do you.

She's no different than thousands of other young women pre-Roe v Wade who did the same thing. She's lucky that she lived. Many of them did not.

The real punishment is that most are poor with few options except to be stuck in a cycle of poverty. Is this the real racist Republican plan? To keep minorities, especially women, trapped below the poverty line?

There is a direct and strong correlation between number of children in a family, and poverty. ( https://www.eldis.org/document/A75457 ) Forcing families to have more children ensures that they stay down.
 
She would have had more options under truer capitalism through equal protection of our own laws to ensure capital circulates under Capitalism.

That tends to happen in venues like this one where, when you give your opinion, you can expect push back from those who don't agree.

Every time she makes one of her self-righteous pronouncements about abortion, the Planned Parenthood of Columbus gets another donation. I'll do that here shortly. It's good to turn pompous smarm into help for others, eh?

There are a myriad different forms of contraception now, harking back to the bad old days of backstreet abortionists is emotional bullshit much beloved by the Left. I suspect the truth is she is very educationally subnormal and should have Nexplanon, an IUD or even sterilisation.
