The Trump administration left office without providing the State Department with an accounting of the gifts former President Donald J. Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence and other White House officials received from foreign governments in 2020, the department disclosed late Friday.

“It’s flagrant and it looks terrible,” said Richard W. Painter, the former top ethics lawyer for George W. Bush’s administration. “Either it was really stupid or really corrupt.”

I am glad you described Trump's abuse of the system as flagrant!

But, just about every president or their First Ladies somehow forget about the Emoluments Clause for inexpensive little household gifts!

Trump seemed to make it a policy to abuse the Emoluments clause with Truckloads of BRIBES he never reported for obvious reasons!

You do know Trump was in office for 4 terrible years, don't you? He had people traveling the world in diplomatic talks. He went to North Korea by his pudgy self. Pence was given gifts that disappeared. That is what you expect from Trump and his people. Fuck the rules. it is mine.
