If those athletes don't support the invasion, why ban them?
Okay, I’m a nitwit, but it’s a form of sanction. The United States is denouncing the act of war by Putin. Pressure from the Russian people stopped Russian aggression before. This is a tool to stop the war.

Your poll is from 3 years ago.
A LOT has happened since then.
I would support aid for Yemen, I have never supported our involvement, if you remember, Donald Trump help drone the area. I was very much against that and was happy when Congress took action, Trump vetoed it and finally, Biden is the one to pull back.So where are the sanctions to stop the Saudi's from bombing/destroying Yemen?
And the US and GB from supporting them?

Sounds more to me like virtue signaling.
It’s the nature of sanctions, the innocent suffer, until enough take action to stop the war.If those athletes don't support the invasion, why ban them?
