I do not keep up with the popularity of foreign leaders in their own countries. My opinions are more of a worldly opinion of Macron- because I am on the outside looking in rather than the inside-looking out! He has certainly never done anything to harm me personally as an American, and I have no reason to dislike the man! I actually admire the man and I think he is a great ally of ours here in America.
Now carry on, be insulting and an asshole about that all you want.
That just says more about you, than it does about me, Macron, or anyone else really!

Yes, they have the right to protest and have and voice their opinions in France.Not everyone is going to agree with Fuel taxes!
But, Macron is trying to wean his nation out from under their thirst for oil and also now trying to get them off of Russian Oil in particularly.
So, he did raise the taxes on Petro. It was a risk and is being complicated by Russia invading the Ukraine and we'll have to see now if it was enough to cause him to lose the election.
I think he will survive this, as France is high on Electric Car and looking forward to greener energies!
