I mean, I hate to assume the whataboutism mantle for awhile - but the GOP is now the party of conspiracy and election lies. They bear no resemblance whatsoever to the party of Reagan that we knew just 6-7 years ago. They've gone completely off the rails.

I don't "wonder about it" at all.
I do what I imagine most people do...which is to think about how much worse it would be if the other guy had been re-elected.
Yeah, things are not great, but they would be ever so much worse if that disgusting lump of flesh had been allowed to be president for a second term.
What I do "wonder about" is why so many right wingers still feel any positive feelings for the most disgusting person ever to hold the office of president...TRUMP.

I would have never voted for Biden, if I didn't believe he was the best candidate to lead us- out of all of the candidates to choose from in 2020!

Here is a simple solution: if there is no food for people to eat in your area, you should vote for Republicans. If the FoxNews claims of mass starvation ring hollow to you, you should vote for the Democrats.

Biden has been improving the roads, and trying to get funding to improve the roads. The previous four years to Biden were an absolute disaster for the roads.
Uhmm.... John Kerry does not have a son. He has two daughters. One is a medical doctor in Boston, and the other is a film producer in NYC. Neither have anything to do with energy or Ukraine.
If you make up a fictional son for Kerry, one has to wonder whether any of your claims are real.

It's more than that. As the Democrat party moves Left, it becomes increasingly dogmatic. Those running it are going to increasingly tell you how you should run your life. That is, they will increasingly try to run your life for you whether you want that or not.
Most people will respond negatively to that. Most people can see the Leftists can't even run their own lives, and recognize the stupidity in letting them run theirs.

The GOP has good reason to worry about its future. The party has lost the popular vote in the last four presidential elections. The demographic tide of African, Hispanic and Asian American voters rises while the GOP is weighed down under the ballast of a demagogic leader who trades in dog-whistle racism. The members of the Greatest Generation, the Baby Boomers who did support Trump are giving way at the polls to Millennial and GenX voters who vote Democratic.
In a few more years the only elections that republicans can win will be local elections in redneck states, they won't win ANY national elections. By 2050 white Americans will be the minority while blacks and Hispanics vote overwhelmingly democratic.
