Biden privately said Trump should be prosecuted for January 6 riot and is frustrated with AG Garland for not taking 'decisive action': report

Damn right Trump should be prosecuted, and if Garland has not done anything in bringing charges against Trump by the end of this year, Biden needs fire him?!!

President Joe Biden privately said that former President Donald Trump should be prosecuted over the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol, The New York Times reported on Saturday.

In addition, the president described Trump as a "threat to democracy," according to two individuals with knowledge of the conversation who spoke with the newspaper.

The Times said that their report was based on interviews with more than a dozen people, "including officials in the Biden administration and people with knowledge of the president's thinking." All requested anonymity to speak freely, the paper said.

Biden has reportedly grown frustrated with US Attorney General Merrick Garland, who is investigating the riot, according to people close to the president. The president has described Garland as a "ponderous judge" and said he wants to see him take more "decisive action" regarding the Capitol siege, according to The Times.

However, per the report, Biden has never articulated his frustrations about the January 6 cases directly to Garland.

Nope, separation of power. Justice is separate from the executive, The AG does not work for the president. Well, Trump changed that for him, but we are back to Biden asking for Garland to do something. He is not ordering him around as daffy did.

tRump, his criminal family enterprise and numerous Congressional repukes deserve to be prosecuted and convicted for their felonious and seditious conspiracies against Democracy, society and civilization, otherwise, it's just more of that miscarriage of justice atrocity and dereliction of duty against the law and against humanity, and who are waging their own war against Democracy and humanity too.

I agree as tRump's atrocities are so great, they cannot be ignored and will go on and on until by default tRump and his fellow co-conspires against Democracy and humanity are held extremely accountable for their crimes against humanity and war they conspired against Democracy and society. This historical atrocity is also too great to be swept under a rug and be forgotten.
