As the world witnesses what is happening to Ukraine, Americans were asked what they would do if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country? A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country. Republicans say 68 - 25 percent and independents say 57 - 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 - 40 percent they would leave the country.

Why is it exactly that leftists are dead against stereotyping large groups of people in all cases except when it comes to their political enemies? Could it just be that the REAL truth is they are only against stereotyping if it is directed at them and other connected groups, otherwise...anything goes? Yep...... pretty sure thats it! :laugh: I find it quite amusing when some of the worst offenders when it comes to moral issues and civility ATTEMPT to claim the moral high ground. And Yes......I laugh at them and NEVER take them seriously. :laugh:

People stay and fight because they have nowhere to go. They also love their homeland or are comfortable there. That is why attacking a country does not work out well in the long run. American expansion has created millions of refugees, But as in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and other countries, we are out. We spent treasury and blood, then came home.
Americas would fight if we were attacked. Polling is crap.

4 million Ukrainians have left last I heard. may not be 38% but then again leaving may be more difficult than some realize.

Sorry, dude, but I strongly disagree. Sure, the elderly, fat-assed traitors would fight..if they can move. The White Supremacist terrorists, like the Nazi assholes in Ukraine, would fight. Like Ukraine, the White Supremacist assholes are mostly fat-assed wannabes. Ukraine had a 1000 of the assholes compared to the 470,000 in the Ukrainian military and reserves. Let the Nazis be cannon fodder or watch them run. LOL

Bottom line, the US, awash in a sea of guns as the gun-banning Left constantly screams, would deflect any invasion quickly and retaliate with extreme prejudice.

FWIW, there's a good chance the Russian Army is seeing signs of mutiny. The two MI-24 Hinds which blew up a critical Russian fuel depot inside Russia, may have been Russian helicopters.

Without fuel to the invasion force, Russia can't advance nor send in reinforcements.

Occam's Razor: Are the Ukrainians supermen who successfully navigated the strongest air defense system in the world or, as we've already seen with fragging in the Russian Army, is it more likely pissed off Russians are revolting?

If Russia revolts, will Belarus follow? If so, will the non-NATO former Warsaw Pact nations assist?

Agreed. I expect those leaving are from the attacked areas. Ukraine has a population of 44M. 10% is not very much considering and if over 80% of them were from the areas Putin is murdering kids, understandable.

As noted to Cypress, there's indications the Russian Army is beginning to revolt. Such things can cascade quickly if the conditions are right and I believe they are.
