How old are you? In my life time, the ONLY President who told the truth about the state of the economy during his 4 years was Jimmy Carter...and the GOP vilified him for it. Nixon, Reagan, the Bush Crime family, Clinton, Obama, Dump...all put a rosy or incredibly optimistic spin on the SOTU...but it was Clinton who delivered a balanced budget in the end, and Obama set the course that took us out of the economic tailspin. So you're not unique (or incorrect) in criticizing Uncle Joe on this point..You just need to take your foot off the "it's all the Dems fault" gas pedal before you crash into the reality wall.
