52% of Democratic voters in Florida SUPPORT so-called 'Don't Say Gay' bill

poll found that more than 52 percent of Democratic voters surveyed, roughly 365 people, oppose the Governor Ron DeSantis-championed policy
A further 12 percent remarked that they were unsure of their stance on the bill
Just 36 percent of those polled said they opposed the legislation, officially called the 'Parental Rights in Education Bill'
The results come just days after a POLITICO/Morning Consult poll revealed that a majority of Americans support the guidance

Commissioned by local political action committee Floridians for Economic Advancement, 701 likely voters were asked about the legislation - officially named the 'Parental Rights in Education Bill' - which limits LGBTQ discussion in schools.

The bill would ban teachers for speaking about sexual orientation and gender identity with students in kindergarten to third grade, while also limiting discussions about those topics in other grades.

t also allows parents to sue districts over alleged violations of the ban, and requires teachers to notify a student's parent if there is a change in the student's mental, emotional or physical health - something LGBTQ advocates argue could lead to students being outed to their parents.

The poll found that 52 percent of Democratic voters surveyed, roughly 365 people, support the Governor Ron DeSantis-championed policy, saying students in the specified age group should not be taught about sexual orientation or gender identity in class.

A further 12 percent remarked that they were unsure of their stance on the bill. Just 36 percent of those polled opposed the legislation.

You misread that idiot

You cannot should not push sexuality on pre-pubescent children. That is wrong and pure evil on many different levels, and really the bill should have made it until 9th grade.

For more than 2 centuries teachers were forbidden to discuss sexuality in Florida classrooms.

We used to give a foreign-language teacher hell because we'd ask him in the language he taught if he was a faggot when all knew he was..

If he had said "Yes" he would have lost his job.

Sexuality and children should never mix, ever. Ever, ever. :nono:

Children are not sexual, that's why they are children.

What does "push sexuality" even mean?

The subject should not come up at all. Boys are boys and girls are girls.

Definitely no talk of intercourse or dating or anything. That's not what school is for. Especially before 9th grade.

What makes you think they are talking about intercourse?

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that. Poor kids.

Depends on the parents. I went through the Catholic school system from 1 to 12. Got the whole shock routine about abortion. But my parents made it clear....the education and discipline is important, the religion is your choice at 18. And since they weren't in agreement with all the dogma, I didn't become a ditto head....especially since a lot of my school mates parroted the racist rhetoric of their social groups (the school desegregated about 2 years before I attended).

I love made up stories!!!!

"A draft of the framework says in part that kindergarten through third-grade students can begin to “challenge gender stereotypes” and that “some children in kindergarten and even younger have identified as transgender or understand they have a gender identity that is different from their sex assigned at birth.” It also advises teachers to “Discuss gender with kindergarteners by exploring gender stereotypes and asking open-ended questions, such as what are preferred colors, toys, and activities for boys/girls, and then challenging stereotypes if presented.”"

The bullshit has been happening, and I think it started during Obama. The faggot president.

Most likely the framework was laid earlier, though. It started with the "Dept of Education" and "Head Start".

It's perverts grooming generations of children.

That is for parents, not teachers. And it isn't K-3.

Same thing here.

Nothing about using bananas in K-3.

All that effort for nothing. But thanks for trying anyway. :dunno:

Yeah, they're doing more than bananas in K-2.

They have "sex education guidelines" sponsored by Planned Parenthood nationwide.
