Equal protection of our own at-will employment laws for unemployment compensation can solve our homeless dilemma as well. The police should be able to tell the homeless to obey our own at-will employment laws and apply for unemployment compensation for being unemployed in our at-will employment State, and get off the street. I am sure any landlord will appreciate the market friendliness.

so you think that huge crown of people looking for a voucher wouldn't go get free money from a different line if that was possible?

unemployment insurance required that they worked at some time - and that they keep looking for work - proving that they are submitting applications for employment.

no, he does not. he seems to think unemployment is like the fountain of youth - you just have to go get the goods

homeless people by and large would not qualify - they did not pay in recently enough to qualify

Equal protection of the laws matters. We should have no homeless problem with equal protection of our own laws.
