Ketanji Brown Jackson is the most popular Supreme Court nominee in years

Sorry, dude, but she's not a High School Junior in Debate Club. It was a legal interview and she was asked a political question to score points for the Republican's election campaign this November.

FWIW, Marsh is a hottie:

If it were an interview she failed it.

So?

As Jackson pointed out, she has more trial experience that the rest of the judges combined. The right is running on empty. Define a woman. what kind of crap is that?

Five recent surveys have indicated strong support for President Joe Biden's decision to nominate Jackson for the Supreme Court seat retiring Justice Stephen Breyer is vacating. According to an average of polls by Gallup, Fox, Monmouth University, Quinnipiac University and the Pew Research Center, about 53% of Americans supported her confirmation, with about 26% of Americans opposed. This is good for a +27-point net popularity rating.

I could see that. Though it changes nothing about how the court will function...

You bring up Melania and you tell me I'm moving the goalposts? Transgenders do not belong in sports, especially HS or college sports, when there's both men and women teams. Period.

I didn't say one word about Melania. You're confused as usual.

Ketanji Brown Jackson was slimed.

The patronizing and bullying behavior of senators like Alabama's Howell Heflin, witnessed live on national television, prompted not just anger and revulsion but a political backlash over the seeming cluelessness of the all-male Senate Judiciary Committee.

Just over a year later, in November 1992, five women were elected to the Senate — the most ever at one time — and a record 47 were elected to the House, with California at the vanguard of what came to be called the "Year of the Woman." The victories of Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein marked the first time in history a state chose two women to represent it in the U.S. Senate.

Decades passed. Another Supreme Court confirmation hearing, another Black woman verbally assaulted.

Do you believe that "babies are racist?" the oleaginous Sen. Ted Cruz asked Ketanji Brown Jackson in one of many exchanges meant not to illicit information but inflame the GOP's conservative base.

But don't expect a huge political backlash this time. Things have changed, for good and bad

Only because I didn't break the story of her inappropriately touching me ,at some place I don't remember, 39 years ago, but, at an exact time I don't remember, and have no witnesses to support my claim.

You do know this is a violation of Rule 12b? KBJ is 51 years old, so 39 years ago she was 12.

She took advantage of drunk me at a party 32 years ago!

See now Matt is doing it better than Grok. He is accusing a 19 year old of raping him, rather than a 12 year old. While a complete lie, at least he is not violating Rule 12b.
