House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said on Jan. 6 that he had called former President Donald Trump earlier in the afternoon to give him a first-hand report of the violence in the Capitol in an effort to get him to calm down the rioters.
But Trump claimed the protesters were ‘Antifa’, Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R., Wash.) said in a statement Friday night. When McCarthy said the protesters were Trump supporters, Trump fired back: “Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are.”
The call got heated, and at one point McCarthy retorted: “Who the f---- do you think you’re talking to?”

I would be shocked if there was anything less than a 70 hour gap in the phone logs...of EVERY POTUS.

I believe you have it backwards, most people working for government are honest and just doing their jobs. The corruption comes from a small percentage of people. Our government mimics society, most of us are just hard working, honest folks, on both sides, who have forgotten we have more in common then issues we disagree about.
I am not talking about the useless nobodies whom do useless, nobody jobs like the DMV.
I am talking about those in the halls of power.
Those who tell the useless nobodies what to do.
Almost every high end politician in both parties and most high end bureaucrats are terrible human beings who do not care about you OR America.
They care only about furthering themselves and possibly those whom they care greatly about.
They look down on the masses as ignorant saps who will believe whatever they are told.
And sadly - they are right.
Most people are so pathetically inept and naive it defies logic.
They are SO DESPERATE to have someone in power look after them?
That they will overlook almost anything the latter do to delude themselves that their political 'heroes' actually 'care' about them.
And they blame the 'evil others' as the sole reason for their party not being able to make America a WONDERFUL place.
All the while, those at the top - on both sides - have drinks with each other and laugh loudly at how easy it is to con the simpletons that put them in power.

Difference is, there doesn’t exist definitive proof, or any proof, of what you claim, at this point pure innuendo, however in the other case, the proof is there, nothing on the logs when documentation exists that phone calls were made

That is not true, you are describing 19th Century America, there exist numerous areas where the private sector can not adequately address, easiest example is fire or police departments, do you want your fire /police department to be based upon a profit motive?
