Clarence Thomas - Covid

...and influenced Clarence to support Trump in a SCOTUS decision as the lone dissenting vote.

Thomas has disgraced himself as a judge and should resign. His wife should be arrested for sedition.

Run by and for Trump. Nothing else matters.

Good point and agreed. All Trump care about is Trump. His philosophy is not a Christian one: "If you can't help me then fuck you. If you try to stop me, I'll flatten you."

Interesting observation, although I have a couple of disagreements.

Agreed the GOP morphed into the Republican Party we see today, which means the GOP is D-E-A-D. Romney and Cheney are "old guard GOP" and you can see how popular they are. The Republicans no more thought they could use and dispose of voters than Democrats with their special interests. What did happen was that conservative Americans morphed into the Tea Party and then, to drive up numbers, allowed the White Supremacists coupled with the Evangelistas too take over the Republican Party.

Like famous JPP poster Dutch Uncle says, "It started with Jefferson...."

Mmm. not quite. Check out the "Southern Strategy" as to why the GOP started turning into the current form of the Republican party. Then look into how the Tea Party became dominant (local elections coupled with support from the RNC).
When Reagan opened the tent flap and allowed the fringe right wing evangelicals a real seat at the table, even Nixon warned that "these people will hurt the Party"(to paraphrase).

The Moral Majority morphed into the new conservatives, who morphed into the Tea Party, etc., etc.

Like it or not, what I say is valid...Jefferson didn't have a damned thing to do about it.
