How far do we go to defend Ukraine?

We should do nothing. Russia is doing us a favor. Our relationship with the Ukraine is based entirely on coercion.

Ukraine is too weak to coerce us, and we are too remote to coerce Ukraine. There is no clear coercion on either side. The Russians are trying their best to coerce Ukraine, but Ukraine is fighting back.

My wife’s very Pro Trump family is starting to criticize Biden for not doing enough to defend Ukraine. These are people who just a few months ago were defending Putin….

So, while I am starting to see a trend of Republicans starting to complain about Biden not doing enough, I’m interested… should we be doing more? Where is the line? What should the US do?
I make a motion to supply humanitarian assistance to Ukraine until Russia can no longer sustain the effort. I make another motion for Putin to be given a retirement in Switzerland or any place he should prefer and get to keep his yacht. It is not his fault he was forced to dictate instead of preside.

I would call Putins bluff and send in the US navy and airforce because he is not going to use nukes. However I would not send the US army into a meat grinder against the Russkies. We have the Europeans for that. We can just arm them and do the civilized fighting via air and sea.

nothing he has done has changed anything either......

How can you say that?

There was a virtual conference with TikTok influencers only last week hosted by the big brains at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

30 TikTok stars received a Ukraine war briefing from the White House

Who forced him to do that?

Given that a second rate European nation has stopped a world military superpower stone cold in it's tracks, and is gradually liberating formerly occupied territories, I'd say Biden is doing about the right amount in terms of military assistance and Intel sharing.

Recently, even Newt Gingrich grudgingly gave Biden credit for how he has handled this war.

We should continue to help Ukraine proportional to the amount that Europe helps Ukraine. The US tax payer should not be on the hook for the majority of the support for Ukraine. Biden should be twisting European arms hard.
