Jan. 6 committee faces a thorny challenge: Persuading the public to care

The public hearings might prove to be the committee’s best opportunity to fulfill their explanatory role and reach audiences outside the Beltway with well-produced, viral moments. Graff said the committee would be wise to reference the 1973 televised Senate Watergate hearings that broke down a complex story in ways the public could actually understand, sparking prolonged and intense media coverage.

At the time, Majority Counsel Sam Dash’s strategy was to build a case before hearing from star witnesses. For example, much of the first hearing on May 17, 1973 was dedicated to understanding how the Nixon White House was organized.

I remember watching them every night during the summer.

The trouble is they've pissed away a year boring people and failing to produce anything compelling.

Once again your team ran screaming out the gate with no facts, no plan and looked silly doing it.

You know, like the faux Russia thing and all those impeachments.

Just quit while you're behind.

Physically assaulting nearly 200 cops in the Capitol is acceptable to you? Chanting, "hang Mike Pence" is acceptable to you?

More like, they've pissed away a year plus and there's nothing to find. They are going over ground that has already been covered in detail by several other committees. They are nothing but

oh, you're a jerkoff troll. good night

See! Trite and idiotic!

you chose to create this thread based on the article so you know that most people don't care about what would never have been more than a kerfuffle had the cops not murdered one of the protestors.

You refuse to answer my question.

I couldn't care less. You cannot deny entry to The People's House and nobody was hung.

I care a great deal more about criminals looting and vandalizing, assaulting, murdering and overthrowing local governments because some junkie ODed and was arrested.

I'll answer it this way:

Jaw-Dropping: Police Chief Association Releases Number of Officers Injured During Violent Riots

So, what were all those police injured, chopped liver of no importance? How does the Capitol building garner such significance in a country where it is really just another building that houses those we choose to represent us? It isn't a palace. It isn't a castle. It isn't some location of greater significance over the buildings that private citizens own. If it were, it would amount to an edifice of totalitarian might.

my care is also with how phony the media has been - and how democrats are shit stains that know the media has been in the tank for them, and prefer it because they crave power

long before I care abut January 6th, I care about how the media was in the tank for a political party. we went from planting debate questions for Hillary to things even worse -which is shocking to have to say

January 6th? fuck you shit stains. Tony Bobulinksi first. the laptop from hell first. fake russia collusion first.
