Germany put the German people first. Unfortunately, that means having to continue to get natural gas from Russia to keep people's homes warm and industry--including some that are providing military support to Ukraine--running.

like all European NATO countries, no doubt Germany is feeling much better about being so close to that big bad Russian bear.......Putin has demonstrated beautifully how inept and impotent his army is. they quite obviously lack lower to mid ranking tactical commanders with any battlefield awareness, or any idea how to protect themselves against the partisans, partisans they didn't even expect to be there. I guess they didn't know Spring gets pretty rainy, their armor is sinking into mud, even showed the world a 40 mile long tank jam, still sitting there weeks later...brilliant

hell if America sent in the Big Red One, 101st Airborne, plus the 3d, 4th, and 7th Infantry divisions and various air cav brigades...a small fraction of the 1.2M troops ready to go right now....they'd mop up all those underpaid starving troops in days, not weeks. without nukes Putin would be as dangerous as Thailand
