Scottsboro officer shoots wife, kills himself
Scarberry says Stephen Miller, had just finished rehab for drinking and was going back to work at the Scottsboro Police Department, but was on leave at the time of the incident. She also says Amanda and Stephen Miller were having issues and she was filing for divorce.

Another day, another violent cop shoots his partner and then cowardly turns the gun on himself instead of surrendering and going to trial.

You can't reform this...you can only defund it.
 
What a shame


Mental illness goes untreated far too often



Better support for the individuals doing this very difficult job with more services for them and the people could save lives



That is not defunding


That is proper support


It will actually cost more



But will be VERY worth the investment

Sounds like he reformed it himself. Who do you think would have taken him in for trial if the police were defunded?

Flash humans sometimes kill their spouses. Cops are humans too. The Dallas Chief of police son killed a citizen and then a cop before the police killed him. People do bad things sometimes.
