Putin (trump's hero) is not doing well

We need to stop wasting our time with alt right posts about how great Putin is, and start thinking about why Putin is failing so desperately. Does anyone have any ideas why Putin is failing so badly?

Obviously, it is tough to say exactly what is happening in Ukraine, but we do know a few things for certain. The Russians have lost four major generals in three weeks. To put that into perspective, the British lost only three major generals to enemy action in six years of WWII. WWII spanned almost the entire world, and involved Britain nearly losing.

It can be assumed that Putin's invasion of Ukraine is hitting his major generals harder than regular soldiers. There is no way Russia has worse losses than Britain did in all of WWII... But still, they have to have some major losses across the board.

Then there is the lack of advances. Kyiv is less than a hundred miles from the border. It has taken Putin's military column three weeks to go less than a hundred miles? Think about that for a minute. Putin's forces are supposedly advancing 600 miles a day towards Kyiv for three weeks, so they have gone 12,600 miles? That is half way around the world. Put another way, if Putin started from any point on earth, and advanced in all directions at the rate he claimed, he would have conquered the whole Earth in three weeks. If you do not see Russian tanks out your window, you know Putin is lying.

We do not know why Putin is failing to advance at a reasonable rate, but maybe it is air support.

Why has Putin failed to achieve air supremacy, or even air superiority. It is almost like he is not even trying on that front.

Wally, you are starting to post like Guano and that ain't a compliment.

Maybe his game is not to take Ukraine, but to draw the world into the conflict on Ukraine's side?

Interesting idea.

Or maybe they just want to do damage to Ukraine, and to themselves. Putin could be getting rid of a military that could overthrow him.

Putin ended up believing his own bulksh*t.

It has been a centuries-long debate in the East Slavic nations: The Russians believed that the Ukranians were just another variety of Russians with a regional linguistic accent.

Ukranians believed they were a distinct nation, with a distinct language , identity, and culture.

Putin clung with a death grip to the narrative that Ukranians are just Little Russians, and few of them would be willing to die for the idea of Ukranian nationalism, and most of them would just get accustomed to being Moscow's junior partner once again.

With his assumptions having been discredited, Putin's military failures have painted him into a corner because he cannot accept the prospect of military defeat.

That's an unusual take on it. They've had .38 caliber regime change before.
