A conservative writer urged Republicans not to nominate Donald Trump for president again, arguing “the GOP does not lack options” and “does not need to return to this well.”

“Donald Trump? In 2024? Why on earth would conservatives choose that guy?” National Review senior writer Charles C.W. Cooke asked in an essay published on the magazine’s website Tuesday.

The idea of selecting “extraordinary selfish” Trump to run in 2024 “should be absurd, risible, farcical, outré” and “the preserve of the demented fringe,” Cooke wrote.

The problem is that Conservatism has absolutely no policy successes they can point to as a reason to vote for them.

So instead, Conservatism has become a cult of personality around Donald Trump.

Every Conservative is going to put their own hackneyed spin on Trumpism because when it comes to policies, they have none that have succeeded in delivering on the promises made of them.

If they pick someone else they will just transfer their total loyalty to that person

They are now a personality cult

They will just anoint a new master

Ever since they deemed Ronny Rayguns a saint for decades

They created a cult

They just looked for the NEW Rayguns

They anoint a saint

And then act like he’s a unfailable god

They did the same with BUSH if you remember

It’s a fact free loyalty cult

Racism and melting non racists is all they believe

They will fuck their own families prospects to do it
