Well I've walked the length of Omaha Beach, around 8 kms, and visited the various cemeteries overlooking the beach. Also been to Pointe du Hoc, Utah, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches, have you?

People fight hard to protect their homeland and families. We were taught that lesson in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan lately. We had enormous military and weapon superiority. We owned the skies and waters. We had to leave.
There are men taking their wives and families to safety and are turning back to fight. That includes men in their 60s.
