U.S. gasoline prices edge lower after hitting record high last week

All of the historical and ridiculous chicken shit littles who haven't the sense to understand what supply and demand means or other economic factors related to the supply of crude oil:

NEW YORK, March 13 (Reuters) - U.S. gasoline prices at the pump edged lower over the weekend after reaching all-time highs last week following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Retail gasoline prices fell for the second straight day on Sunday to $4.325 per gallon, below a record of $4.331 hit on Friday, according to American Automobile Association data. Russia's invasion of Ukraine in late February has roiled energy markets worldwide since, bringing more expensive fuel costs to motorists who have also been hit by higher inflation:

Fake news. Prices are not coming down. They are still going up. So is the price of crude oil.

Record profits for oil companies. No different than the inflation overall. Price gouging.

I want to know why it's legal to raise the price of the gas in the station's tanks by $.40/day, and then lower it by $.01/week when prices come back down?

Do you want to talk about how much the government collects per gallon again??

Which of course means higher prices for gas.

Gas falls a fraction of a cent so we need a thread claiming that gas prices are falling. ...

Interesting.

Haven't we been told that private companies can do whatever they want (like censoring the news and banning speech they don't like)?

How is this any Different?

Oh, I see.

They can. Twitter and Facebook is censoring quite a lot. So is Youtube. So...people are leaving them for other services that don't censor, such as moving to Gab, Parler, Rumble, and Bitchute.
The market is again sorting out the gougers.

While they continue to drive their huge SUV's, and jet around the country on their fossil fuel\ jets! Is the President using an electric car? I mean they have had a year to produce one for him!

Don't you remember when he photo-oped driving an F-150 Lightning? He wasn't even driving!

Oil is trading under 100 bucks. That was due to Russian. /Ukraine talking and hope that Putin's personal war may be ending. It is also that China did not jump in to help Pooty.

To the extent that ideological fanaticism is a sort of secular religion, maybe so.

It is. Like the Church of The Ozone Hole, the Church of Green, the Church of Global Warming, and the Church of Covid, they are fundamentalist style religions. The all stem from the Church of Karl Marx...also a fundamentalist style religion.

Philosophy defines words like 'science' and 'religion'. 'Religion' can best be described as follows:

The common traits of every religion is that it is based on some initial circular argument. This is not itself a fallacy. The circular argument is simply an argument that uses it's own conclusion as a predicate. The other name for the circular argument is the argument of faith.
From there, all arguments stem from that initial circular argument.

Example: In Christianity, the initial circular argument is that Jesus Christ exists and that He is who He says He is...namely the Son of God. ALL other arguments in Christianity stem from that initial argument. In Christianity, believers try to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and God the Father.

It is not possible to prove a circular argument either True or False. Any attempt to do so creates the Circular Argument fallacy. This is what a fundamentalist does. Fundamentalists exist in pretty much any religion. Some religion are inherently fundamentalist. Believers must try to prove their religion True since they are using it to push their view of the world and their agenda.

Other popular religions today that are inherently fundamentalist include the Church of No God (these believers call themselves 'atheists', which is a lie), the Church of Evolution, the Church of Abiogenesis, the Church of Creation, the Church of the Big Bang, the Church of the Continuum, the Church of Natural Selection (a theory that has been falsified), and even the Church of the Black Hole (which somehow contain magick properties).

Many religions predict catastrophe unless everyone joins that religion. The Church of Covid, the Church of Global Warming, the Church of the Ozone Hole, and the Church of Green are no different.
Many religions also reject science (which is just set of falsifiable theories and has no religion or politics).
Pretty much any religion also has it's leaders, or priests and prophets, that set their beliefs as law in that religion. These religions are no different in that either. In the Church of Global Warming, for example, such priests are called 'climate scientists' (even though they reject science).

So...yes. A secular religion, and like many fundamentalist religions, ideological and fanatic.

Nope. It's trading at $101.36 (Federal Reserve Notes) as of 3/14/22.m.2322Z and may quite possibly be temporary since Biden release more oil from the strategic oil reserves. Once that reserve is exhausted, Biden will have no more controls to use.
The war has almost no affect on the price of oil.
