1) IIRC, the Ukrainians already picked off two top Russian generals. It's smart to target the leadership. Since the Ukrainians own the countryside, they're probably attacking the Russian supply lines and specifically targeting fuel trucks. The apparent ineptness of the Russian Army isn't helping them.
2) Both are good but it's been years since I had either. Tito's is common around these parts.
Like anyone else, I have no idea how it is going or what Putin expected. I am sure he wanted to waltz in. That is not happening. I have read that from 2 to 8 generals have been killed. I do not know if that is true. None of us do. The fog of war hides the truth. Moon, Legion, and Dillon are doing Russian press work here. They pontificate without knowing what is going on.
