Wrong. Canada was the number one country we rely on for imports by orders of magnitude. 4,085,000 barrels per day v. 90,000.
Russia ranked ninth among the top 10 countries that the United States relies on for crude oil imports. In December 2021, the US imported 90,000 barrels per day from Russia.

You are correct that the President doesn't have control over gas prices as in there's not some lever they can push that makes prices rise or decrease. It's way bigger than that. This tweet chain lays out well though the Biden energy policy. When you say climate change is an existential threat and we need to do everything we can to ween ourselves off fossil fuels and discourage drilling there's an element of intellectual dishonesty to say those policies play no role at all in what's happening.

You should have started an anti-lockdown revolution among your like-minded compatriots. The rest of us decided we'd rather be safe than sorry. 81,170,185 cases in the US, highest in the world. The second highest, India, has about half that.
Some might say they consider it a boon.
It may be a staple source of protein for virtue-signaling lefties soon, given the unanticipated consequences of bungling Biden' stupid sanctions.
Like the critical shortage of agricultural chemicals for growing food, to give just one example.

Since the original tweet is from Townhall, I have to read what he said in context. I clicked where it said "Read the full conversation of Twitter" and it didn't link to a full conversation. It linked to Drew Holden's Twitter account and two pictures.
In any case I believe that all of this started when the pandemic took hold, before Biden was elected. He wasn't the cause.
