Defiance amid home-made barricades of Fortress Kyiv

It's been in the news, are you that ill-informed?

This is the problem:

In 1945, the Russians lost somewhere between 75,000 and 100,000 men taking Berlin. Does anyone really think they won't suffer say 10,000 to 50,000 dead crushing Ukraine?

I'm not being pro-Russian in saying that. I'm being pragmatic and realistic in saying it.

"When the French came to get their alleged due they all sank in a hurricane. A Navy larger than the Spanish Armada. They tried to take over the colonies. Lost almost all their navy and large numbers of infantry at sea. In the 1740s".

That's very close to exactly what happened.

Except for being larger than the Spanish Armada. It was 70-ish ships and the Spanish Armada was 130.

"It was the greatest force that had ever been sent to America, the great fleet consisted of 20 warships, 32 transports, and 21 smaller auxiliary vessels. There were 3,000 veteran troops and 10,000 sailors aboard the ships. Many weapons and supplies were also stocked below the ships deck for the long journey.

In addition, four more large warships under Commander Conflans which at this time were cruising the West Indies, were ordered to join up with d’Anville at the harbour of Chebucto (Halifax).

The expedition was ill-fated and not a single victory did it obtain; disaster followed disaster, until there were left only scattered fragments of the once proud fleet."

They probably have lost 5,000 to 6,000 already, and they are only 3 weeks in. As they attack more of the country, their losses will mount. Other than some sort of peace agreement, I do not see how the number will not rise to at least 10,000. Even if there is a peace agreement, without a withdrawal, there will be continued attacks from the Ukrainian people, and they will have a slower rise to 10,000... But still get there.

Getting to 50,000 might take longer, but given time...

I do not know if it is true, but I read a lot of Russian soldiers are disappearing. They do not want to kill Ukrainian citizens.

Is that so?

Was it?

Can you explain what any of your BS has to do with Ukraine, the American revolution or the Battle of Yorktown?

You got me off on this tangent, you turd!

All I said was they were hitting Russian tanks like Americans hit the redcoats while they were marching.

To explain how it relates to the American Revolution: If that fleet had not have failed so bad, we'd all be speaking French right now!
