Defiance amid home-made barricades of Fortress Kyiv

.
•The bulk of Russian forces are now no more than 15 miles from the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv's city centre
•Fortress Kyiv has become a web of evermore intricate defences that line the streets and alleys for protection
•Thousands of fighting positions, tank obstacles and sandbagged redoubts were thrown up around the city

They def are ready for street to street fighting. I dont think they are gonna get it.
Based on Mariupol , Karkiv etc I cant see Putin charging in without turning the city to rubble

Zelensky has to understand he cant hold out forever - he can continue to hit with Javelin and his air defenses, but Putin has 0 reason not to grind it down at this point. he has nothing tolose

Bennet is offering to negotiate.. AllI see on the news is the resistance..there is no resistance to artillery

They need to continue to hit Putin's supply train. They need to cut the Russian army's food supply. Ukraine needs to use their Javelins and AT 4s to destroy the Russian tanks and troop carriers.

the Javelin are very effective. really the only reason Russian armor hasn't just sliced thru
But the supply lines from the north are secure and the Russians just hit a city in the middle of the country
Besides Odessa Uk has no supplies other then "rat lines" from Poland

It become a war of attrition as the Uk strategy, but Moscow is doing the same
The wild card is flights from Poland but I havent seen much coverage if that is happening

Both sides would be better off with a negotiated settlement, but both sides wont -
thinking they can improve their position
so the war goes on for the forseeable future

Hmm, think Stalingrad.

LATEST UKRAINIAN PROPAGANDA FROM THAILAND TOM

They have a lot more defenses set up than I thought. Also they're hitting them like Americans hit the redcoats on the march.

That is effective.

The Americans would have lost if the French hadn't bankrupted themselves sending a fleet to blockade Yorktown, Matt.

Read some history, for the love of God.

Too bad when the French came to get their alleged due they all sank in a hurricane.

They tried to take over the colonies. Lost almost all their navy and large numbers of infantry at sea.

I've read more actual history than you've googled and read, boy.

Oops! What I'm talking about happened years before that.

You can't be this stupid. The hurricane that sank most of Ribault’s fleet was in 1565.

DURH DURH DURH DURH.

No, this was in the 1740s and the French had amassed a Navy larger than the Spanish Armada.

Oh! I have it! I have it all.

And before you start your shit, this is real.

It's even epic poetry. By Longfellow.

Duc D'anville..

And moar:

You gonna dispute the New England Historical society?

Yes really. Did you have a point?

Prove it.

Show me historical evidence that "when the French came to get their alleged due they all sank in a hurricane. A Navy larger than the Spanish Armada. They tried to take over the colonies. Lost almost all their navy and large numbers of infantry at sea. In the 1740s".

And no sky-daddy saved us Bible thumping bullshit.

I'll wait.

BTW, the Spanish Armada was a Habsburg Spanish fleet of 130 ships...

Kinda already did, dud. However, I'm probably wrong about the Spanish Armada thing, to be more accurate it's probably the Spanish Navy at the time.

From what I understand it was a fleet of 70 ships, the biggest in the world at that time. I.E. France's Navy was bigger than Spain's at that point in time.

I've shown you a Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem and the story from the New England historical society.

What more do you feel you require? You could research what happened to Admiral Duc D'anville. :dunno:

Kinda already did not, DUD.

BTW, Longfellow was a poet, not a historian, and he was born in 1807, so he wasn't a witness, either

I also told you no sky-daddy saved us Bible thumping bullshit.

So, let's review: you have no historical evidence to prove "when the French came to get their alleged due they all sank in a hurricane. A Navy larger than the Spanish Armada. They tried to take over the colonies. Lost almost all their navy and large numbers of infantry at sea. In the 1740s".

You also haven't explained what any of your BS has to do with the American revolution or the Battle of Yorktown.

This is the point where you you mention a cactus or post "deez nuts" and go sleep it off, isn't it?

Most likely, because that is often the point where I run out of patience with your bullshit and am tired because I worked.

I pointed you in the right direction. You wanna dispute the Boston Historical Society, well..I'm not one for "Argument from authority", but in this case, I'm pretty sure they know better than you.

You choose to deny God and think you're a conservative American? That's Fail.

It doesn't work like that. This country was founded on the freedom to worship God freely the way people see fit. Not on denying God.

There's a big difference. Boy.

Lemme guess, you believe in the FSM, Legion?
