Who are the people that still like Trump?

I've made it no real secret that I don't really like Trump... while this does not make me a Democrat and I wouldn't vote for a Democrat because I dislike the candidate a bit more than I have other candidates of the past. It does make me wonder...

Who are y'all? Do you actually like Trump? And Why?

Personally, telling the truth doesn't mean much if folks won't listen because you sound like a 4th grader repeating something your father said and getting it a bit wrong. So, "He tells the truth"... Not good enough, IMHO.

I liked the SCOTUS nominees. And a policy working towards energy independence. There were other policies I didn't hate... but I could never say I actually liked Trump. I just didn't actively dislike him enough to vote for someone in the D party.

In the final election I voted Libertarian because CO was going to vote for Biden no matter what I voted and I didn't want to vote again for someone when I thought we could do better... We can, BTW, do better. Better than Trump and better than Brandon.

So, here's the place to admit it. Where are the JPP Trump fans? Tell us why. (I am sure you know the leftists will troll you for it, but they do anyway, even if you don't like him, so just admit it...)

#13783 is one, and there are others.
NONE OF THAT HAD ONE FUCKING THING TO DO WITH AFFECTING THE PRICE OF GASOLINE OR CURRENT OIL PRODUCTION IN THE UNITED STATES!

So I have no idea what you are trying to say here!

I would say.......Yep. Absolutely. And he ain't makin' no effort to increase exploration, either

FJB

The oil companies have over 7000 leases they have not touched and one of Bidens first actions as president was to open huge parcels of govt land to leasing. You are as usual running on empty.

I got an email from Trump asking me to pitch in to buy him a new plane. He claimed to have10 billion dollars. I could sign up for continuing donations, a nice monthly 3500 bucks. This is the same guy who claimed he was self-financing in the election. Now he found a way to fleece the sheep. Arent you rightys ever embarrassed by that clown looting for all he can get?

I love Trump. While he may not be able to communicate his ideas well he is one of the few people who understands power and ho it is to wield it. Its not a coincidence that when he left office the middle east was pretty much wrapped up.

Take a look at the ME right now with an objective eye. You have the Abraham Accords standing strong. You have Iran on the brink of starvation. You have Turkey with a crashing Lira. About the only country left that can contest our chosen representatives for the region is Quatar and they will have difficulty doing that as their wealth comes from the natural gas fields they share with Iran. It would take a monstrously incompetent person to lose the ME now such as maybe one determined to side with Iran over the alliance we set up which covers the rest of the stable middle east.

On China, Immigration, etc Trumps views is right on all of them. A lot of people say he couldnt get much done. I don't think you realize how much our judicial system perverted itself to stop him. There was what i would call a Trump-law. Laws interpreted by leftist judges to foil Trump and force his orders to go all the way to the SC. Can you imagine declaring legal intent of current laws on campaign messages? If that was the standard everyone is held to all laws would be held unconstittional.

1) Trump was the equivalent of a six-year old with a loaded pistol.

2) The ME is still a shithole with at least one more war between the Sunnis and the Shia's in the near future.

I'm guessing Ms. Moon is Sunni.

He most certainly has not.

"In FY 2021, the government approved 5,145 ADP, up from 4,631 from the year before.

However, Kevin O’Scannlain of the American Petroleum Institute has called the unused leases frequently cited by Psaki and other administration officials “a red herring” and “a smokescreen for energy policies that have had a hamstringing effect on the world’s leading producer of natural gas and oil.”

“For more than a year it [the White House] has halted new federal leasing — key to future energy investment and production,” O’Scannlain wrote in a March 4 post on API’s website. “It canceled energy infrastructure, blocked development in parts of Alaska, entertained new taxes to punish the US energy industry and chilled future investment by signaling that oil and gas wouldn’t be part of America’s future energy mix. All last summer, the administration called on OPEC+, the oil cartel, to increase its production more rapidly in the face of rising energy costs, bypassing American producers.”

Here's the real deal:

"According to the US Energy Information Administration, America produced 11.18 million barrels per day (MBD) in fiscal year 2021, down from the 12.28 MBD coming out in FY2019 and 11.28 MBD produced in FY 2020. "

Numbers don't lie. 2020 was a Covid year, too.

https://nypost.com/2022/03/09/white-house-energy-industry-point-fingers-over-high-gas-prices/

If numbers were down it was because oil companies did not feel like drilling, not because of Biden.

$4/gal is the new norm with Biden in charge. There's going to be a shit ton of unintended consequences of his strangling of the oil industry coming soon.

Anything made of or packaged in plastic, municipal fleets of vehicles that run on propane, fertilizer shortages; This is going to be bad.

Trump's appeal will always be a great, incomprehensible mystery to me. He's not a likable person. He's a liar & manipulator, and he turns on even his closest friends at the 1st sign of trouble. Never seen anyone as vindictive. Total blowhard & egomaniac. Not really any positive qualities.

His supporters always say "he gets stuff done," but I didn't see it. He set America back significantly on several fronts. He was in over his head from day 1 - he made promises he couldn't keep and always seemed frustrated by the process & needing the approval of others (like Congress).

Not a good person, not a good President.

Aside from tRump's brainwashed anti mask and anti vax cult followers upon the thousands who have ended up at the cemetery or elsewhere, the treasonous MAGATs that are left are probably trying to figure out a way to avoid getting busted by the FBI. tRump doesn't give a damned for these people to which he said even before getting lawlessly hacked in there in 2016 the stupid people like him who are uneducated, stupid and easy to manipulate, and to which tRump and his criminal family like vultures picked them clean of their money.

Have you ever watched his rallies? Especially prior to the election. He's a great showman. Once you get past the political bullshit and lies, he's a great entertainer who knows how to work a crowd. It's his superpower.

Second to that, IMHO, the election of a demagogue authoritarian says more about the voters than the votee. A return to authoritarianism, as happened in several countries after WWI, is an indication of a weak culture desperate to have an authoritarian figure make all the decisions and do all the work to protect the population.

It's an example of doing the opposite of Ben Franklin's oft-used comment by RWers: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Trumpers, especially the Insurrectionists, are an example of those who want to install an authoritarian dictatorship in the US to protect them from blacks, Jews and other "mud people". In that regard, they are no different than those who want a Federal government so powerful that it controls all of our rights and the States have no powers.
