Ukraine LIVE: 'Catastrophic for Putin' Huge blow for Russia as top army commander 'ki

The British were not trying to prevent the Russians from winning in WWII. The British and Russians were allies against the Germans in WWII. Several of the British generals were killed in plane crashes, and not from enemy action. WWII was a much larger, and longer war than the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The British fought a six year war, all around the world, with many deaths at all ranks. Russia has lost 3 major generals in less than 3 weeks.

Interesting, if true. If true.

Targeting is being provided by NATO/Americans.

Maybe even the strikes.

Very dangerous.

No source says anything even close to that. Snipers would use their own targeting, or at most the targeting of another sniper within a few feet. No reason to believe NATO or the US is involved with any of this.

Bull Shit.

I have to agree with Hawkeye on both points. Russia is doing nowhere near as well as I thought they would, and it is truly surprising to me too.

Out of about 20 generals they have involved in Ukraine, 3 have died... And the war has been happening for less than 3 weeks. Goes on for much longer, and they will run out of generals.

Well, the Russian way of war is You kill 10 of us, we kill 1 of you, but we keep coming. You run out of people or will to fight, we win I also am not buying into Ukrainian claims of success any more than Russian ones. The satellite photos and such tell the real picture. The Russians keep on coming, and Ukraine is very, very, likely to lose this war.

The Ukrainian way of fighting is they keep bleeding an invader until the invader goes away. The Russians are going to keep losing forces, until they go away. Sooner or later, they will declare victory, and then flee (just like they did in Afghanistan).

Ukraine LIVE: 'Catastrophic for Putin' Huge blow for Russia as top army commander 'killed'

The Ukrainian armed forces said Maj Gen Andrei Kolesnikov, the commander of the Eastern Military District, is the latest senior Russian officer to die in Moscow's invasion. It follows the deaths of Maj Gen Vitaly Gerasimov and Maj Gen Andrei Sukhovetsky since Mr Putin launched his assault on February 24.
