Discussion on calling pResident Brandon "Brandon" from the Do you like Trump? thread.

I've made it no real secret that I don't really like Trump... while this does not make me a Democrat and I wouldn't vote for a Democrat because I dislike the candidate a bit more than I have other candidates of the past. It does make me wonder...

Who are y'all? Do you actually like Trump? And Why?

Personally, telling the truth doesn't mean much if folks won't listen because you sound like a 4th grader repeating something your father said and getting it a bit wrong. So, "He tells the truth"... Not good enough, IMHO.

I liked the SCOTUS nominees. And a policy working towards energy independence. There were other policies I didn't hate... but I could never say I actually liked Trump. I just didn't actively dislike him enough to vote for someone in the D party.

In the final election I voted Libertarian because CO was going to vote for Biden no matter what I voted and I didn't want to vote again for someone when I thought we could do better... We can, BTW, do better. Better than Trump and better than Brandon.

So, here's the place to admit it. Where are the JPP Trump fans? Tell us why. (I am sure you know the leftists will troll you for it, but they do anyway, even if you don't like him, so just admit it...)

I would respect any Trumpper who could at least admit something they don't like about him. In life there are very few absolutes... Unless you treat Trump like a God, you can see at least some imperfection.

Trump was an easy pick, an outsider that got little love from the Republicans and none from the democrat party. The wild card that produced some of the best results the US has seen since we got rid of Carter. Lot's not to like with Trump but his positive attitude and bloviating from the lawn just before he got in the chopper was always interesting. If really pressed, there is not a middle-class person alive that was not far better off under Trump.

That is true. I genuinely had an open mind when he was elected and hoped he meant everything he promised about being a uniter. But after I saw his divisive ways, I knew it was hopeless.
