Targeted hospitals? How do you know that? They were hit and even modern weapons are not as accurate as we pretend they are. People in hospitals are not high-value targets. they are not fighting and cannot.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denied Ukrainian claims that Russian troops had shelled an operating maternity hospital in Ukraine. The building had been used as a base by the far-right Azov Battalion of the Ukrainian National Guard, the top Russian diplomat claimed on Thursday, during a press conference in Turkey.

The hospital in question has been for days under the control of a Ukrainian paramilitary group and Moscow presented evidence of this to the UN Security Council several days ago, Lavrov said.

“The Azov Battalion and other radicals kicked out all the expectant mothers, the nurses and other staff members. It was the base of the Azov ultra-radicals,” he said, speaking after meeting his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Turkey’s Antalya.

The following section of this memo discusses the Sanctioning the Use of Civilians as Defenseless Shields Act (“Shields Act”), which requires the president to impose sanctions on persons involved in the use of human shields by Hamas or Hezbollah.3 The memo then provides numerous specific examples of human-shields use by Hamas during the May 2021 Gaza conflict. Subsequently, the memo describes how the extensive use of human shields against NATO has hindered the alliance, leading NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe to urge all member states to impose sanctions and take other measures to counter the use of human shields.

Finally, the memo explains how responding with sanctions to Hamas’ use of human shields would concretely advance several U.S. national security and foreign policy objectives. These objectives include protecting U.S. troops against terrorist use of human shields; helping Israel defend itself against International Criminal Court and UN actions that unfairly target the Jewish state; further isolating particular terrorist leaders; and undermining Hamas while supporting other Palestinians.

So the Russian admit they invaded the country and Ukraine is trying to resist that invasion so Russia had to bomb hospitals because the Ukrainians were resisting?

Russia is to blame for the bombing of hospitals since they are the reason there is a resistance.
