Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has lashed out at EU criticism of Islamabad for its refusal to speak out against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Pakistan has been under growing pressure to condemn Moscow's brutal assault on Ukraine with Khan in the Russian capital when the invasion was launched.

He said that European countries should stop their criticism of Pakistan over its decision to remain 'neutral' on the matter.

"What do you consider us? Your slaves? That we should do whatever you say?" he said at a political rally.

Half the world's population have not condemned Russia. They are represented by the 40 countries that refused to condemn Russia at the UN.

Russia isn't going to be a ' pariah ' state at all.

Abstaining is not the same thing as approving of. Nor does it mean they don't condemn Russia. It only means they refused to vote on a resolution in the UN.

Yes...what Russia is doing is obviously very wrong.

But neutrality should not be punished.

america made hate speech a crime, how is that different thasn making blasphemy a crime ?

and isnt it ironic that a country with free speech in its constitution making speech a crime ?

I agree - NATO should have ended when the Cold War did.
And Ukraine has been shelling and killing thousands of innocent civilians in the Donbass since 2014.
Calling the Ukraine government 'saints' is laughable.

It isn't- but you could say that the scale of punishment is different. Then again we've got Guantanamo Bay, the Assange debacle, Trump the assassin............
