Biden's Approval Ratings and the GOP Response

Darla

White Men's Kryptonite
So, this just happened:

"A new Morning Consult/Politico poll finds President Biden’s approval rate has ticked up to 45% to 51% over the last week.

Playbook: “On the Ukraine question in particular, the change is especially notable among independents, whose approval of Biden’s handling of the conflict rose by more than 5 percentage points the past week; and Republicans, whose support grew by 2 points over that period.”

Get ready to hear nothing but gas prices gas prices gas prices.

The Republicans and their little minions on here, are going to try and ride that to squash Biden's approval ratings. You will see a pivot from "biden weak on Ukraine" and "Hillary did something" to "It's all about the gas prices" now.

Of course. I love their solution to high energy prices. "Drill baby drill!" "More fracking!" "Open Keystone!" blah blah blah. Not a single one of these morons understands the time lag between a new well and its crude hitting the refinery and then hitting the gas pumps. They don't understand that Keystone was to carry CANADA's oil, not ours. They also don't understand that oil is a global commodity; the POTUS has no control over pricing.

Biden’s approval rating falls, criticized for response on invasion

The poll found Americans divided on President Joe Biden’s handling of the response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The release states 42 percent approved, 45 percent disapproved and 13 percent did not offer an opinion.

As for the steps the Biden Administration has taken so far to punish Russia, 56% say they are not tough enough, while 30% say they are about right. Only 3 percent labeled them as “too tough,” numbers that are largely unchanged from the previous week’s poll.

Biden’s overall job approval rating stood at 38%, with 51% disapproving, the poll found.

Registered voters gave Biden a negative 40-51% job approval rating.

Nearly 64% of Americans, however, said they have a favorable opinion of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Leftists have no ability to reason so talking sensibly to them never works.

I do not think Biden has any tan suits Deplorables can complain about, but they can always resurect grievances about the Biden's dogs. There was about three weeks of hollering on this forum when Champ supposedly nipped at someone's hand.

LOL I bet.

And all as if the Climate Change Crisis is imaginary.

I actually think that with American conservatives, we would be challenged to actually defeat Russia a wider European war between NATO and Russia.

Russians have proven over and over they are willing to tolerate massive amounts of pain in a war they feel is justified.

Republicans would be working to undermine the government if peanut butter prices became a tad excessive.

True. We saw what they did beginning in 2020 when we were faced with a common enemy -- COVID.

Or during the Great Republican Recession of 2008 to 2009, when Republicans dedicated themselves to obstructing all of Obama's efforts to address George Bush's economic meltdown.

Wasn't it amazing, despite W's massive spending for TWO wars, how we suddenly needed the Tea Party to save the budget from the (D) POTUS?
