Former AG Barr says he wouldn't have prosecuted Trump for Jan. 6 or taking classifie

Bolton has no history of dishonesty. He absolutely has a history of warmongering, but that doesn't have any effect on his credibility.

Beg to differ. Bolton's entire history consists of him being of dubious credibility when he was flexing his imperialistic jaw muscles in his political career:

Georgia opens investigation into ballot harvesting claims
https://thenationaldesk.com/news/am...s-investigation-into-ballot-harvesting-claims
According to interviews and documents reviewed by Just the News, Raffensperger's office received a detailed complaint from conservative voter integrity group True the Vote on Nov. 30 saying it had assembled evidence that scores of activists worked with nonprofit groups to collect and deliver thousands of absentee ballots, often during wee-hour operations, to temporary voting drop boxes distributed around the state during the pandemic.

The group informed the secretary its evidence included video footage from surveillance cameras placed by counties outside the drop boxes as well as geolocation data for the cell phones of more than 200 activists seen on the tapes purportedly showing the dates and times of ballot drop-offs, according to documents reviewed by Just the News.

The group also said it interviewed a Georgia man who admitted he was paid thousands of dollars to harvest ballots in the Atlanta metropolitan area during the November election and the lead-up to Jan. 5, 2021 runoff for Georgia's two U.S. Senate seats, which were both captured by Democrats and ended GOP control of Congress. The group has yet to identify the cooperating witness to state authorities, referring to him in the complaint simply as John Doe.

The Big Lie is rife w/ stuff like that. Mailmen driving around with blank ballots, a mother & daughter team cheating, ballots being burned in a wheelbarrow.

These are examples of the "evidence" that people rely on to completely undermine the integrity of American elections.

no it's not a big lie. more like big tech burying it, scrubbing it. Or I just cant find it.

Be careful with the "lies" talk. I call you a lightweight poster making claims you never bother to source
while answering posts in redacts.. But I dont call you or anyone else a lair unless I have proof
I said I couldn't find it. I didn't say i fabricated it out of whole cloth

anyways Barr has it anout right. Trump lost his shit after a dubious COVID inflate ballot.
The difference is Barr is saying Trump has some moral culpability for making the election a climate of dispute- nothing illegal.

What Barr misses is the Dems do the same when it comes to certfying electors in the House

Trump hover had no role in the planning or incitement to riot..
you can't tell protestors to "go peacefully" and call that an incite.

The interesting part is Barr understands treating Putin as a collaborator with Trump as a "Russian asset"
completely froze Trump's ability to deal with Putin.
anything he did ( even keeping the Helsinki draft summary confidential to stop it from leaking)
would be twisted as colluding with Putin

Putin wanted a Russian reset. 4 years were wasted because trump could not negotiate.
Biden comes in and shows no interest in negotiating anything but around the edges
nothing strategic. Putin sees 4 more years of a more and more weaponized hostile Ukraine

So he invades -and Uk is so well armed already he'll be lucky to come out of this with anything.
In Putin's eyes Ukraine had become an exigent threat as a hostile NATO or proxy war state against him

Asked by NBC News' Lester Holt whether he considered Trump "responsible" for the violence at the Capitol, Barr said: "I do think he was responsible in the broad sense of that word, in that it appears that part of the plan was to send this group up to the Hill. I think the whole idea was to intimidate Congress. And I think that that was wrong."

But, he added, he hasn't seen evidence that Trump committed an actual crime. "I haven't seen anything to say he was legally responsible for it in terms of incitement," Barr said.

I guess this means the Dems can hate Barr again.

yup...

poor donkeys, all dressed up and nothing to act upon. always seems to happen to them since they never think first before getting worked up.

It's 2 parts. I was referring to this part of the investigation. If true it's a big deal (original source)

I wasn't talking about your words, dukkha. The "Big Lie" is what people call the lie that the election was rigged or stolen.

You do call people a lot of other names, btw.

i dont know for sure any more then you do. it's being investigated for what good it would do
Our elections leave a lot to be desired, but then our politicians of both parties do as well

The main thing is tightening up ballot security, but expanding early voting -which GA has done

Oh you know all right....because at the height of Dump's "we wuz robbed" hysteria, he had "his people" run around the country to "get to the bottom of it". They came back telling him NO FRAUD OCCURRED!. The same with the DOJ under Barr. It was in every newspaper, magazine, radio and TV broadcast.

The ONLY thing that came out of all that noise was that some local polling stations and such could tighten up the operations as to reduce delays, recounts, etc. BUT NO INTENTIONAL FRAUD OR GROSS INCOMPETENCE that would tip the scales in Dump's favor.

This reminds me of the GOP numerous attempts to repeal Obamacare. They knew they didn't have the votes, but kept wasting the taxpayer's money trying. At least with this crap it's mostly private MAGA-ites footing the bill.
