Rush Lies? A challenge for Rushbots

Rush has said he never lies on his program. So I'm going to present to you a quote from Rush that you need to defend, if you want to make the case that he wasn't lying about both what is in the quote and about never lying on his program.

The quote:

"It's not enough for you [Obama] to say we're not gonna pull the plug on grandma. I want you to show us the section and the page in your bill where it says we're not gonna do that because the House has a version [HR 3200] that says we are gonna do it."

Okay, so we have two possibilities here.

1) Rush lied about never lying on his program and lied about HR 3200 having a section in the bill saying they're going to pull the plug on grandma.

2) There is a section of HR 3200 that says they are going to pull the plug on grandma.

Not to mention, did you catch how he's asking Obama to do something impossible. What bill is going to have a line in it that says, "We're not going to kill your grandmother"? Is he fucking retarded?

Rushbots, get your hamsters running and the gears turning. You have a lot of work ahead of you.

With legislation the consequences may not be spelled out in the bill, but may be a very real unavoidable impact. These are generally called unintended consequences. But sometimes they are intended.

You dems need to make the case that rationing will not be a consequence. YOu could do that by explicitly putting it in the bill. But since killing americans IS your priority, as per the green anti-human agenda, you will not do it, nor can you.

You're wrong, but it doesn't matter. That's not what he said. He said there's a line in HR 3200 that says they're going to unplug grandma. Where is it?

That's not what he said. He said if you want to claim it won't happen, YOU need to show in the bill where it won't.

You're a cretin.

Defeating ib1 is like scamming a retarded child.

I've got the quote right there, retard. He says HR 3200 says we're going to unplug grandma. I wanna know where.

Please go away. I want to have a discussion with non-racist, non-clinically insane adults.

No. He's challenging you to show where it will be prohibited.

Learn to think.

Again, when people speak of this they're referring to unwritten yet unavoidable consequences.

He says it's written into the bill.

By the way, they're not unavoidable consequences. We have government healthcare for the elderly already. It's called Medicare and nobody's unplugging grandma on Medicare.

The Senate pulled it.

The senate can't pull something that's not there.

They pulled funding for voluntary "end of life counseling", which had been confused with euthanasia by the illiterate, and was the source of this lie. It really provided people with counseling for living wills, etc...

Just where in Limbaugh's quote does he say, "they are going to pull the plug on grandma" is written in any bill ????

Though I do see where he claims that a section of [HR 3200] that says "we are gonna do it"

I guess you'll have search HR3200 for the phase we are gonna do it because according to IB that is what Rush's claim is....lol

The undeniable fact is,

It took Sarah Palin all but one week to OUT the fact which many of us posted concerning language in pages 425 – 430 of the Health Care Bill that would have opened the door for what she mockingly termed a “Death Panel”

The Senate Finance Committee will drop a controversial provision on consultations for end-of-life care from its proposed healthcare bill, its top Republican member said Thursday.

The committee, which has worked on putting together a bipartisan healthcare reform bill, will drop the controversial provision after it was derided by conservatives as "death panels" to encourage euthanasia.

"On the Finance Committee, we are working very hard to avoid unintended consequences by methodically working through the complexities of all of these issues and policy options," Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said in a statement. "We dropped end-of-life provisions from consideration entirely because of the way they could be misinterpreted and implemented incorrectly."

And IBisamoron wants to play words games like a child

Voluntary end of life counseling only makes the most sense in the world. It's not death panels, and it's not pulling the plug on grandma.

I'd love for someone to show us how the government is going to have any hand in pulling the plug on grandma when COUNSELING is voluntarily provided, and whatever decisions are reached are between a doctor and patient.

you morons on the right do not think that providing families of terminally ill and elderly people counselling on end of life issues is a good thing? really? Does anything in the legislation even remotely suggest that the people who are provided such counselling about end of life options are required to take any of the options provided to them?

At a minimum, its trying to influence the sick and old when they are vulnerable, depressed, sick and probably in pain;... to voluntarily accept killing themselves, with a little help from Obamabots to save money, .....You got it, money over life....ahhh, the compassion of the Democrats know no bounds....they are as deceitful and fuckin' sick as ever to defend this despicable bullshit.....
