Don't you think it's time to reopen Anwar fully and reopen the Keystone pipeline plus reopen our offshore oil leases? There is no reason for the US not to be oil independent.

Democracy is a work in progress, and we haven't perfected it after 250 years. The point is Ukraine has made a commitment to adopt western liberal values and incrementally improve their democratic system. Vlad is trying to snuff it out.

Conservation is the quickest way to mitigate an oil shock.

But if the defense of democracy in Europe requires it, I think we should consider loosening some rules for energy production, maybe even open a decommissioned nuke plant or two.
