Before the invasion and before Biden anounced sanctions the rubble exchange rate to a dollar was 0.013 on
February 28th are the invasion and after Biden announced sanctions the exchange rate was 0.010. Not a lot of difference.

The Ruble was basically worthless before the sanctions and is even more worthless after them.

Garry Kasparov, a noted Russian dissident, says that Putin's regime is built like a mafia organization, and loyalty to the Mafia boss only extends as far as protection is offered. If the politically powerful and rich in Russia feel Putin is not protecting their interests, things could change in Russian leadership.
