Chancellor Scholz in Moscow- Putin makes conciliatory withdrawal

That's not ' name-calling '. It's an exercise in apt description.

Rather than state your case, you blather away at the Trump-like 'name-calling'.
(Oh, and your Legionesque 'Thread Bans' prove your inability to confront any opposition to your opinion)

There's no thread-ban on this thread, monkey- and the best you can offer in terms of ' opposition to my opinion ' is " cock-sucker "

The point will be lost on you, doubtless.

If your best effort is personal attacks ... you lose the argument.

Of course. A pro-Russian government at the ballot-box will solve the problems.

Can we assume that Europe can continue on its way without further interference, do you think ?

Putin has united NATO in a way that was unthinkable in the Trump years. NATO unequivocally supports Ukrainian territorial sovereignty against perceived Kremlin threats, and I don't see that changing.

On the flipside, I think it is reasonable for NATO to give Putin a fair hearing on Russia's security concerns, and I don't think NATO needs to expand into Ukraine.

To what argument are you referring, monkey .

This is from the OP:

"This is all about Nord Stream 2.
Biden wants it shut- Europe wants it open.
Putin will continue to advance the truth that co-operation is progressive and NATO is the opposite."

Capitalists want the once Communist Nations to integrate more with the West. So as economies become more intertwined, conflicts*will become more obsolete. An interconnected, global economy makes Peace possible. The 'economic' conflict has been solved. As it is now, we have moved away from the once Duo-economies of East (Communist)/West (Capitalist) and into the Realm of Authoritarian Regimes/Democratic regimes.
NATO represents the 'Democracies'. Putin represents 'Authoritarian Regimes'.

Did you approve when your friend MBS sliced up Khashoggi because he said something the Crown Prince didn't like?

^This is the Topic.

Jack;

No- the US- ' Mr. Capitalist '- does NOT want to see a commercially-integrated Europe/Russia- nor does it want peace. Peace doesn't sell armaments and not having a Russian bogey-man to frighten voters with is not in US capitalists' interests.
If you want to promote the notion of ' peaceful American capitalism ' you're going to become the forum clown. maggot will have to step aside.

Haw, haw..........................................haw.

Scholz and Putin will be discussing how to get the anti-Nord Stream mad-dog NATO drones off the case so that they can continue with the co-operation that the pipeline has promised.
If there is to be any ' false flag ' operation it won't be the Russians behind it.

Why did Biden allow Nord Stream 2 to continue when it had been stopped.

Biden doesn't want it shut but there is a strategic reason to not let Putin sell Europe the rope that he'll use to hang them.** Nothing wrong with trade as long as that trade doesn't put friendly nations under the heel of a murderous dictator.

Still, trade is a two-way street. After the second pipe is operating Russians will benefic economically. The richer they become, the less likely they want the money to stop flowing over political bullshit.

**An update of the commie maxim to "The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them."

Agreed. The plan should be to de-escalate, not provocate. Both sides need assurances especially where Putin, Europe's Bad Actor, is concerned.

Why did Biden allow Nord Stream 2 to continue when it had been stopped.

It's a German/Russian project. Germany simply rejected Biden's demands . That's just happened again, I believe.

The US wants Russia isolated- although that horse left the stable some time ago- because it doesn't want Russian/European commercial integration. Also , the US wants to sell gas to Europe.
These facts are evident in the press. It takes some special kinds of fools to deny them.

Scholz and Putin are currently holding a press conference and expounding upon their solid commercial ties and aspirations.
That's the way forward for Europe.
Ukraine is bathing in the limelight of its importance to NATO aggression.

Cool heads will, it seems, prevail.
German Chancellor Scholz Harshly Condemns Putin's Illegal Invasion

"This is an invasion on an independent, sovereign country that can’t be justified by anyone or anything,” German Chancellor Scholz said in an emotional televised address to the nation.

Mr. Putin, Russia's president, was likely attempting to eradicate an entire country from the map, he added.

“Women, men and children are cowing in bomb shelters in fear for their lives only a two-hour flight away from Berlin,” Mr. Scholz said. “Putin alone and not the people of Russia decided to do this. This war is Putin’s war.”
