So, You Want $15 An Hour?

I am the farthest thing you've ever met from a socialist. Capitalism sure does care about a work ethic but when you artificially raise the price of doing business you will get less labor.
I am not sure what you mean. Usually, that is just right-wing fantasy not any "gospel Truth".

At-will employment is generally described as follows: "any hiring is presumed to be 'at will'; that is, the employer is free to discharge individuals 'for good cause, or bad cause, or no cause at all,' and the employee is equally free to quit, strike, or otherwise cease work."

Sorry about that. This is what I meant by the Rich, in this case:

From 1978 to 2018, CEO compensation grew by 1,007.5% (940.3% under the options-realized measure), far outstripping S&P stock market growth (706.7%) and the wage growth of very high earners (339.2%). In contrast, wages for the typical worker grew by just 11.9%.

What constitutes a "typical worker"?

get over taxes man. focus on not getting jabbed against your will.

many things are deterrent to capital. human rights can be a deterrent to capital.

poor poor companies. stfu.

I love how easily you people come unhinged. I have no problem with taxes, they are necessary but they are a disincentive. I also care about what they are spent on. If you dont understand that then go fuck you.

I am sorry about the stfu. I apologize.

But havent shown it. I am alleging you see the issue simply form one perspective. I'm not sure if it's from laziness or stupidity.
I thought it would be obvious to anyone who understands the concept of capitalism and may compare and contrast it with socialism, if we need to quibble.

Capitalism requires a profit motive not a social motive. It really is that simple.

Right and I thought it would be obvious to anyone who understand the concept of capitalism that 2 people working for $7.50 results in more profit, if we need to quibble.

Why do you believe that? One person making fifteen dollars an hour will be more likely to spend more of that income.
