Inflation accelerates 7.5% in January, hitting a fresh 40-year high

What’s your take on all these claims of racism at Tesla? Enough to turn you away from the company and think people should boycott until they get things straightened out? Or is the technology too important in the big picture and the car is still worth buying while they work through the complaints and allegations?

I'm not aware of the story or details so I can't comment.

So this is a sock account, then.

So when you said before it wasn't, you were lying to me.

Clearly, the sock is starting to unravel because you're falling back into your identifiable bad habits.

Right, but what were the margins of victory in those midterms? Particularly in the swing seats? Very, very narrow. The GOP can't afford to lose any more voters.

Sure it will, in at least one narrow, local race. Also, the deaths aren't even across all districts and counties; the death rate in red districts is much higher than it is in blue districts.

Pro-Drumpf counties now have far higher COVID death rates. Misinformation is to blame
https://www.npr.org/sections/health...isinformation-trump-counties-covid-death-rate

I believe the 2022 election will look more like the 2002 election than 2010 or 2018 because the economy will continue to be strong, we'll be at full employment, and all that BIF money is going to hit in Q2 and Q3 which will be impossible to miss.

You act like this is a character flaw or something...it's not.

I don't even need to wish for Republicans to die because you and Trump and Anatta are filling their heads with lies about COVID that will get them killed.

So I'm happy to continue letting you kill Republicans, and I'm not going to stop you, and you're not going to get any sympathy from me.

So you're wasting your time on this point, when you should be focusing on getting Republicans vaccinated so they don't die before they can vote.

We'll see.

Sounds to me like you're sexually frustrated and can't stand it when someone mocks you or your fungible beliefs.

I am being dead serious now.

Would you lower yourself enough to read even ONE WORD of a reply to you?
From a person whom you honestly and truly felt to be emotionally disturbed enough to be virtually lacking an emotional soul?
Unless you were REALLY bored?

Neither would I.
And I ain't nearly that bored.

Have a wonderful day.

Or just buy an electric Prius, which is cheaper, will last longer, and won't explode.

I owned a 2012 Prius for 9 years. Great car but still needs gas. Driving a Tesla is less maintenance, costs less than half $$$ to drive and a gas car is 10 times more likely to 'explode' than EVs (per Capita). Oh, yeah. And Tesla's batteries last 500,000 miles. Look it up.

Yes. It's funny how those with no car sit on their worthless asses and bitch because it is getting more expensive for those of us who must drive to work.

Stop lying to everyone that you're employed.

We all know you're not.

What a fucking crybaby.

Even if 1/2 a million Reps bought it before November?

You're conveniently forgetting about the half million Republicans who have already died from COVID.

So it's not 500,000 Reps you killed with your indulgences, it's about 1M Reps you killed with your indulgences...and that's probably a vast undercount.

We also know that most of those deaths are centered in specific counties, not broadly across the entire nation.

So you employed a bit of a fallacy in your breakdown here because you make the wrong assumption that those 500,000 Republican COVID deaths are evenly spread throughout all 435 Congressional districts.

Well, guess what? THEY AIN'T.

The hybrid Priuses need gas, but the fully electric ones do not.

They're more reliable than Tesla (and cheaper).

I am being dead serious now.

I don't believe you are genuine in anything you say here; I think you're wildly insecure, and you have this compulsion to posture that you aren't...trouble is, your posturing is not very convincing because it's so disingenuous.

Would you lower yourself enough to read even ONE WORD of a reply to you?

I always quote you all in full, so what are you whining about?

You literally just responded to a post where I quoted you and responded to those quotes.

You're the one who refuses to read even one word written to you, you're just projecting that deficiency of yours onto me.

From a person whom you honestly and truly felt to be emotionally disturbed enough to be virtually lacking an emotional soul?

Yes, I do not believe you have an emotional soul.

I think you're a sociopath who fakes emotion because you simply don't have the capacity to feel it for yourself.

So you cry crocodile tears over my glee that Republicans are killing themselves because they listen to people like you, OR they are indulged by people like you; You should be angry at the Republicans who are killing themselves and their own voters for no good reason.

It's not my problem that Republicans are killing each other, and I'm not going to lift a fuckin' finger to stop it.

You haven't proven to anyone here that you have an emotional soul...I would argue you don't because of all the socks you create to start your same, dumb, losing arguments all over again.

Just a snippet from this ignoramus occupying the White House.

He's actually not to blame. He's just a sad old man divorced from reality.

The DNC propped him up to be their figurehead.

The real culprits are the Obama retreads who run his reckless regime in the federal workforce.

We do need to get him out of office, but the poison pill that Obama planted in the heart of the federal bureaucracy is unelected and impervious to the outcome of any election. It's like an inoperable cancer.

It was a Machiavellian masterwork, but I detect the evil genius of Rahm Emanuel as its author, not Obama himself.

He was just the one who had the phone and the pen that made it happen.

Inflation measured by the same formulas used in Carter's time:

• January 2022 CPI-U annual inflation hit 7.48% [up from 7.04% in December], the steepest inflation pace since February 1982 (in 40 years); the ShadowStats “Corrected” Alternate CPI estimate hit 15.63% [up from 15.15% in December], the steepest inflation rate since June 1947 (in 75 years).

Carter wasn't President in 1982, Reagan was.

Obviously these are just charges so it doesn't necessarily mean they are true. But if they are what do you think? (Not asking this as a gotcha question rather just curious your thoughts on kind of the two scenarios I laid out.)

California sues Tesla over alleged rampant discrimination against Black employees

https://www.npr.org/2022/02/11/1080073061/california-sues-tesla-racism-fremont

I just read a short article about it. Eh, it's just one factory in SF California. It's not going to affect the way I feel towards EVs or Tesla. I'm sold on EVs. They are so much simpler than gas cars. No oil, no oil pump, no radiator, no water pump, no transmission, no transmission fluid, no fuel pump. The electric motor has been around forever and it's one of the simplest pieces of machinery in existence. And the gas car simply can not match the performance of an EV. It's been well documented that the energy costs ($$$ per mile) of EVs are less than half that of gas cars. The charging infrastructure is growing every day. Battery technology is improving all the time. The range will increase. The battery size, weight will decrease while the charging capacity will increase.

Gas cars are dead. Just about every car manufacturer is making EVs because the consumer wants EVs. It's why I bought Tesla stock last year. I plan to hold it 5-10 years.

I don't know where you're getting the "They're more reliable than Tesla". Go online and do some research. Read some articles written by engineers. You'll see that Tesla is the world-class leader in EV technology. Everybody else is 5 years behind them. BTW, I don't really care about 'cheaper'. I'll pay more to get more/better quality and technology. I bought a LR/AWD Tesla Model Y last June and I love it. I'll never go back to a gas car...EVER!!!

What the fuck do I care?
I am not a Trump fan.

And why do you care?
It's obvious.
Because you are desperate to shift attention from these fucking, TERRIBLE CPI numbers.
And all you have is blabbering about what the manchild said over a year ago.

So instead of showing concern about how these numbers affect Americans?
All you seem to care about is whining about Trump.

So noted.

Good day.

dems are mostly economically illiterate. They only speak on it if its in the talking points memo.

That's quite a virtue you signalled there, big boy.
