Most teachers get upset when I help the grandkids with their homework. This, I suspect, has something to do with showing them how do things the teacher made difficult easy, and showing them alternative information to what their crappy, comic book-like textbooks have...

They don't but I do get feedback from the grandkids and sometimes their parents. Their homework (most are now in high school) is simplistic at best. It's almost insultingly stupid in some cases.
