The CPI jumped by 1/2 a fucking point to a forty year high.

DOW futures tanked on the news and are down 250+ points.
The NASDAQ futures are down 2%.
Even the CAC and the DAX (EU) dumped on the news.

This could force the Fed to raise rates even sooner and harder than they originally planned.
Which could tank the markets and put the brakes even more on an economy built on cheap money.

And rotas ruck getting that Biden BBB bill through the Senate - without massive changes - with inflation screaming in their faces.
